Synopsis: Witness reported seeing “fifty objects… flashing lights all over the sky” and that they looked like “they were set in place but moved… because of the movement of the world.”
Object Description: The objects emitted / flashed or reflected light and seemed to appear star-like; they were reported as being between four and ten feet in size, and seemed to hover in place.
Witness Interview / Statements: was unsuccessful in establishing contact with the witness
Natural Phenomenon or Man Made: based on the witness’s description, the objects do not appear to be manmade. The only natural phenomenon which could account for this display would be the September Epsilon Perseids, a Class II meteor shower which occurred between September 5 and September 13 (peaking on September 10) on the year of this incident; however, this would not account for the reported size of the objects.

Conclusions: In reviewing this case, it would be coincidental to say that this was part of the September Epsilon Perseids meteor shower instead of something of an extraterrestrial nature: the witness did not describe any visible trails or streaking across the sky, and he also reported the objects being between four and ten feet in size. However, the witness also reported that the objects were star-like, that they flashed, blinked, and emitted a beam (within the data fields of the report), and that they also exhibited a flight path due to the movement of the world while hovering. From reading the witness’s closing statement within the report, it is obvious that he experienced something that troubled him, but there are too many inconsistencies within the report as is to form any sort of educated opinion.
